Jackson Police responded early Monday morning to a call about a domestic disturbance at the Southridge Park Townhomes on Warwick Court. The female caller reported a man she knew was outside her door and would not leave. She also said he was known to have a gun. Upon their arrival, officers spotted the suspect running through the complex. An officer pursued the suspect and they exchanged gunfire, the 29-year-old suspect died at the scene. The officer was treated and released from the hospital.
