23-year-old Hassan Moore pleaded guilty Monday to one count each of second-degree murder and felony firearms just days before his murder trial was scheduled to begin. Moore had been charged in the July 2017 shooting death of 18-year-old Morris McBride Jr. at the Reed Manor apartment buildings on Steward Avenue. Moore was identified as a suspect in the shooting through surveillance camera footage. He faces up to life in prison at his sentencing slated for March 14th before Circuit Judge Thomas Wilson.
