Slated to open in the first quarter of 2019, CP Federal Credit Union announced that their new Saline branch will be located at 559 East Michigan Avenue, in the Saline Shopping Center, next to Busch’s Fresh Food Market.
In a press release, CP Federal said that the branch will be 2,000 square feet and feature loan, teller, and membership services, along with a 24-hour walk-up ATM.
Chrissy Siders, President and CEO of CP Federal Credit Union said in the release, “We are extremely excited to bring a credit union into the Saline market. We researched several communities and found the city of Saline to be a perfect fit. Their strong sense of community, commitment to top-notch education, and community pride are all things we value and support as a credit union in the communities we serve.”
CP Federal Credit Union operates one of the largest financial education programs and student-run credit union networks in the nation and is dedicated to teach youth to save, share, and spend wisely. CP Federal has already partnered with Saline area schools and will be launching a student-run credit union inside Heritage Schools in 2019. Student-run credit unions are branches inside the school that are operated by the students serving students, faculty, and staff; and handle basic transactions, deposits and more. CP Federal also provides classroom programs and activities focused on financial literacy.
With the new branch, CP Federal will be the only credit union with a branch within the Saline community.
