During the Jackson College Show on WKHM, host Lee Hampton posed the question “What does TCS Squared mean at Jackson College?” to Jackson College President Dan Phelan.
“TCS Squared stands for Total Commitment to Student Success. It was the work and the vision, frankly, of the Board of Trustees to declare what kind of institution of higher education that we wanted to be. An institution that could declare its north star as would be its guiding force of the allocation of resources, the commitment of our time, the focus of goals and achievements that our board set forth.” Dr. Phelan said.
This student-focused success plan is about the immediate, as well as the future. “It not only determines the work we do currently, and how we go about it; and what we think high quality stands for and what the institution will stand for.”
