At Dahlem, it’s all about Birds, Blooms, and Butterflies on Saturday.
Becky Shotwell said the program is for the whole family. “It’s a day of celebrating the Nature Center itself, our native pollinators, birds, butterflies; and educating people on how to attract these kinds of things to their backyard.”
The Perennial Connection of Albion will be on hand with native plants on sale, which Shotwell says will attract native species, which is vital to a healthy backyard. The Audubon Society of Jackson and Connie Spots, the resident butterfly expert, will be on hand to talk birds and butterflies.
The event takes place at Dahlem from 9am to 3pm.
