Mayor Dobies announced on WKHM that another building rehab project may be on the table in the city.
“We have another company called SeaLandAire (Technologies) that is looking to move into Michigan.” Dobies said. “They do a lot of military work, Defense Department contracts, where they do a lot of research and development. They want to move into a facility on High Street there right behind Wendy’s on West Ave.”
Mayor Dobies said that SeaLandAire Technologies wants to take advantage of the PACE program that provides assistance with clean energy upgrades for businesses. Dobies said that the facility has been empty for a while now and the company projects to invest upwards of $2 million into updates.
