Crash on Easter Sunday

As we reported yesterday a double fatal head on accident on M-50 Sunday morning just before 11am.  Investigators believe a Jeep Laredo driven by 46 year old Sandra Beltran of Vandercook Lk. left the shoulder and as she swerved, overcorrected  across the centerline, and struck a Jeep Wrangler driven by 62 year old Allen Dryer of Cement City. Beltran was dead at the scene, Dryer was very critical and died shortly after the accident at Allegiance Health.  Napoleon Township Police was assisted by the Jackson County Sheriff's Dept., Columbia Township Police, MSP. Accident Reconstruction Team. Alcohol is not believed to be a factor in the accident.  The crash remains under investigation.
