CMS Energy announced a plan to buy power that some of its customers produce from
farm animal waste, and other organic material. Consumers Energy expects to buy 2.4
megawatts of electrical capacity from anaerobic digesters, they are systems that use waste
to generate electricity. Consumers says the ''Experimental Advanced Energy Program''
is open only to their electric customers, and are accepting applications April 1st through
