USA Wins Gold

A pair of Michigan ice skaters have won gold in ice dancing at the Olympics in Sochi, Russia. Skating partners Charlie White of Bloomfield Hills and Meryl Davis of West Bloomfield made history yesterday (Monday) when they became the first-ever Olympic ice dance gold medalists from the United States. The pair, who have been skating together for 17 years, won silver in the same event in the 2010 Winter Olympics in Vancouver. White and Davis, both University of Michigan students, train in Canton.
