City Passes Garbage Ordinance



Jackson City Council voted  5 to 2 to approve a new garbage ordinance in the city.  The City will now take bids , and award a contract that will cover the whole city.  Single family homes will be required to pay for the service, and most rental property owners, City leaders on WKHM including Mayor Marty Griffin say homeowners will save money with the new arrangement.  Council members Kim Jaquish and Michelle Woods voted against the new plan. City Manager Patrick Burtch on a snag they are working out for landlords.
