The departments of Civil Rights and Education announced the three school districts that will participate in a pilot anti-bullying program. Allendale Public Schools, Detroit Public Schools and Vandercook Lake Public Schools will all receive assistance from consultants in the two departments in developing anti-bullying programs as well as involving the community in those programs, interpreting the data they collect on bullying and developing appropriate interventions.
The three districts, chosen from among nine applicants for the pilot, will also share information with each other and with other districts on the programs they develop.
