Pushing Sales Tax Increase To Fix Roads



Governor Snyder on Wednesday with his State of the State address presented a strong argument for user fees to pay for improvements to Michigan’s infrastructure.  State Senator Bruce Caswell told WKHM his constituents recognize the roads need work but don’t want to pay higher registration fees.  He feels most people would accept an increase in the state sales tax to pay for improvements.
