Wednesday night Deputies from the Jackson County Sheriff’s Department responded to a crash at Dew and Hanover Roads.  A 51 year old female from Hanover was heading north on Dew road when she lost control, ran off the road and struck a tree.  She as taken by ambulance to Allegiance Hospital and was treated for non-life threatening injuries.  The 57 year old male passenger from Concord was flown to U of M from the scene.  He’s listed in critical condition.  Investigators believe he was not wearing a seatbelt.  After the driver was treated for her injuries she was arrested from Operating While Impaired causing injury.  The crash remains under investigation.
