The five 1st Ward Residents looking for an appointment to the vacant Jackson City Council seat will get a chance to address the Jackson City Council at their January 22nd meeting.  The applicants include Theron Hester a Home Depot Associate, Arlene Robinson who is the President of the Local NAACP Chapter, Rev. John C. Clemons of the Lane Memorial Church, Angela Haynes who last worked at South Central Michigan Works and Personal Trainer Michelle Woods.  The Jackson City Council is expected to make their appointment on January 22nd.  The 1st Ward Council seat was left vacant with the passing of Carl Breeding late last year.
