Jackson County Sheriff's Department reports that on Saturday December 29, 2012 at 11:31 am Deputies from the Jackson County Office of the Sheriff responded to the area of Trist Road and Seymour Road in Waterloo Township for a deceased female which was found in field by subjects walking in the state game area.

Detectives from the Sheriff’s office responded to the scene and assisted deputies in the investigation. A vehicle located a short distance from the body was located which was registered to the deceased female.  Initial evidence suggests the female had taken a large amount of medication and then succumb to the either the medication or a combination of the medication and the elements.

An autopsy was completed and found no signs of trauma or anything suspicious.  The determination of death is pending toxicology results.

The deceased is identified as Kelly Marie Pingilley, 22 year old female from Redford Michigan.
