City Removes Housing Commission President, VP & Files Suit
Following a city Council closed session Wednesday, the council voted to file a lawsuit against the Jackson Housing Commission, as Mayor Griffin told WKHM last week the Commission was trying to create their own health insurance plan, instead of using the city's. Council also voted to remove President Katherine Martin and Vice President Terrence Anderson from the Commission. The City and the Commission have been in a running battle over the new registration ordinance.
