Saturday night Deputies from the Jackson County Sheriff’s Department responded to a single vehicle crash on Coonhill Road near Sayers Road in Henrietta Township.  Both the driver, 16 year old Jacob Schamber of Munity and his passenger 21 year old Adam Robinson for Leoni Township died in the crash.  Through their investigation Deputies determined Schamber’s pick up truck was heading east on Coonhill Road and failed to negotiate a curve.  The truck left the road, overturned and struck a utility pole.  Power went out in the immediate area.  Deputies believe alcohol and speed may have been contributing factors in the crash.  Seatbelts were not used by the occupants. The investigation is continuing.
