The trees is down and is now waiting to be decorated and put on display in at the State’s Capital. Friday morning hundreds of Jackson residents lined up on Edgewood in the city to see the giant fir tree harvested. Jackson Mayor Martin Griffin said this was a good day for Jackson.
Jim Maeder from the Timbermen’s Association told WKHM this was quite an involved process to remove this tree.
