Patrick Burtch is Jackson's new city manager, City Council voted Tuesday night 4 to 2
to name Burtch to the permanent position. Burtch  will make $117,300 and receive a
6 percent raise to $124,500 in July of 2013. Councilman Derek Dobies an Councilwoman Kim
Jaquish voted no, Councilman Carl Breeding was absent.
