Two suspects jailed and are accused of trying to steal a roll of copper wire from Consumers Energy’s Parnell Road facility. The Blackman-Leoni Department of Public Safety was called to Consumers just before 5:00 Thursday morning. With the help of search dogs and the Jackson County Sheriff's Department, both suspects were captured, The copper wire valued at $2,500 was also recovered. Suspects will be arraigned Friday.
