Tuesday, Officers from the Jackson Police Department were investigating the theft of several items from a residence in the 100 block of N. Brown Street.  A vehicle was among the items stolen.  The vehicle was located earlier after it was involved in a crash on Maple.  The driver of the stolen vehicle was arrested for Operated While Intoxicated zero tolerance, as he was under the age of 21.  Additional charges for the theft of the vehicle and receiving and concealing the stolen property will be sought.

Also on Tuesday, officers responded to the 700 block of Irving for a suspicious situation for two subjects exiting a vehicle parked in the area.  As officers were arriving two subjects ran from the area.  They were soon located and taken into custody.  Officers searched the vehicle and found marijuana and ecstasy.  Charges are being sought for possession of ecstasy and possession with intent to delivery marijuana.
