The Jackson Police Department continues to investigate the bank robbery from Friday morning. Shortly after 10:30, someone walked into the E. Michigan Avenue Citizen’s Bank, indicated they had a weapon and demanded money. After receiving an undisclosed amount of cash, the robber left the bank on foot. A k-9 unit from the Michigan State Police tracked the suspect in a westerly direction for a few blocks before losing the track. The suspect is believed to be a male, about 5’7” with a thin build. The suspect was last seen wearing a Green Michigan State Hoodie with a red shirt underneath, faded jeans and dark colored shoes. The robber was wearing gloves, a mask and sun glasses too.
