JPD Looks For Help In Solving Friday's Bank Robbery

The Jackson Police Department continues to investigate the bank robbery from Friday morning.  Shortly after 10:30, someone walked into the E. Michigan Avenue Citizen’s Bank, indicated they had a weapon and demanded money.  After receiving an undisclosed amount of cash, the robber left the bank on foot.  A k-9 unit from the Michigan State Police tracked the suspect in a westerly direction for a few blocks before losing the track.  The suspect is believed to be a male, about 5’7” with a thin build.  The suspect was last seen wearing a Green Michigan State Hoodie with a red shirt underneath, faded jeans and dark colored shoes.  The robber was wearing gloves, a mask and sun glasses too.  If you have information you could contribute to this case you are asked to contact the Jackson Police Department or the anonymous tip line at 787-0212.
