What should be done with the vacant properties the city is creating by removing abandoned homes?  Jackson City Councilman Andy Frounfelker told WKHM their options are varied.

Frounfelker said turning those lots into commercial properties is also an option.

The councilman said the City is also back on track when it comes to taking down the old Consumers Headquarters.
