The Michigan State Police Jackson Post is investigating a fatal traffic crash from Thursday afternoon at Base Line Road, West of Earl Road in Henrietta Township.  29 year old Marcy Jean Winnie was heading west on Base Line Road when she lost control and hit a tree.  She was pronounced dead at the scene.  Investigators say speed was a factor and Winnie was not wearing a seatbelt.  Troopers are continuing their investigation.
