Officers from the Columbia Township Police Department responded to a two vehicle accident at Jefferson and Hayes Road Monday afternoon.  An 87 year old Columbia Township woman was heading west on Jefferson while a 32 year old Northville resident was heading east.  A press release from the Columbia Township Police Department did not indicate an at fault drive, it’s believed the accident was a near head on collision.  An accident reconstruction team from the county is continuing their investigation.  The 87 year old was flown to U of M for her injuries.  The other driver was not injured.
