For the first time since 2005 the Lumen Christi Titans and the Jackson High School Vikings will face each other at Withington Stadium.  The football game has been labeled The Promise Bowl and it will take place on August 31st with a 7:00 PM kick off.  Advance hospitality tent tickets will be available in mid August, they will be $15 and will give Lumen, J-High and Parkside Alumni a chance to mingle before the game.  Additional ticket information will be announced at a later date.  It’s called the Promise Bowl in honor of the Promise Zone, one of ten communities in Michigan that is raising money toward a $2 million goal.  When the goal is achieved eligible students will receive money to attend a local college.  You will be able to listen to the Promise Bowl on News Talk 970 WKHM.
