An officer from the Jackson Police Department attempted a simple traffic stop Monday night at Francis near Ganson.  When the officer was walking up to the vehicle, it sped off.  The officer pursued the vehicle through the city and finally stopped at Abbey Villa Apartment.  The vehicle’s driver and three occupants fled on foot.  Three of the subjects were eventually taken into custody, all three were juveniles.  All three are facing charges of fleeing and eluding, unlicensed driving, resisting and obstructing, and minor in possession.  The vehicle belonged to one of the juvenile’s parents and was taken without permission.
