The Jackson City Affairs Committee will recommend to the full Jackson City Council to allow medical marijuana patients and primary caregivers in the city the ability to grow and use medical marijuana in their homes.  Vote was 2-1, Dan Greer was the dissenting vote.

And finally some good news about the former consumers headquarters downtown.

Greer said the city has a good price for the complete demolition.

A good chuck of money could be coming by way of the county to help bring down that building.
