The Michigan Center Community is mourning the loss of a popular teacher.  Scot Furman passed away unexpectedly overnight.  Michigan Center Schools were closed Friday morning, teachers and staff were asked to report briefly.  Michigan Center superintendent Scott Kozial reacted to the sad news Friday morning on AM Jackson with Greg O’Connor.
