The driver of the semi that caused the train derailment accident earlier in the week will be issued a citation.  WKHM spoke with Director Mike Jester from the Blackman-Leoni Department of Public Safety.

68 year old David Zimmer of Saugerties, New York got the lowboy trailer he was hauling hung up on the tracks at Portage and E. Michigan Ave earlier this week.  Five minutes later his trailer was struck by an Amtrack passenger train causing three cars to come off the tracks and sending ten people to the hospital with minor injuries, including Zimmer.
