Sheriff Steve Rand is releasing the identity of the victim that was found in Liberty Township this past Saturday. Detectives have obtained enough information from family members to identify the victim. As a matter of procedure an identification using dental records will still be completed by the medical examiner’s office. The victim is identified as Sandra Kaye Johnson, 63 year old female from Addison Michigan. The Jackson County Sheriff's Department is asking the public if anyone saw Sandra Johnson in the late evening hours of Friday or early Saturday morning. Johnson’s movements and activities in those time frames are of interest to investigators at this time.
