Robinson Arrested For Gant Murder



The Jackson Police Department Investigative Unit activated the Michigan State Police District One fugitive Team who arrested homicide suspect Todd Douglas Robinson.  The arrest was made in Lansing for the homicide of Eshaum Dupree-Oneil Gant that occurred on December 24th of last year in the city of Jackson.  Robinson has been charged with open murder and felony firearm.  The investigation by Detectives Brett Stiles and Sergio Garcia, along with Assistant Prosecutor Christopher Dickerson, led to the arrest of Robinson.  The Office of the Prosecuting Attorney took the unusual step of requesting a One-Man Grand Jury.  Visiting Circuit Judge Edward Grant conducted the inquiry on Thursday of last week.  As a result the evidence heard by Judge Grant at this secret hearing, an indictment for the two counts were issued.
