The United Way of Jackson County's fundraising campaign is at 89 percent of goal.  Pledges and donations now total $1,765,807 this years goal is 1,975,000.  ''Our entire campaign team is very encouraged by this show of support from the community,'' said Bruce Goldsen volunteer Campaign Chair.  People are encouraged to make a contribution through their workplace campaign, or to donate online with the Jackson United Way.  Organizations that would like to hold thier own fundraising drive can contact Mike McKenna, Fund Development Director at 769-5124.
