Jackson Police Department reporting that since January 10th four area businesses have been broken into and the suspects stole a large number of cigarettes stolen.  The break-ins occurred in the early morning hours, it appears they were after Newport and Marlboro brand cigarettes.  The businesses that were targeted, including two in the city, one in Blackman Township and another County business, were within two miles of I-94.  Three similar break-ins have been reported in neighboring counties.  Police are looking for two men.  One 5’8” and the other 6’0” tall, anyone with information should call the Jackson County Tip Line at 787-0212.
