JPD Investigating Possible Child Abuse



Sunday evening Jackson Police received a call from the Department of Human Services at U of M Hospital for a possible child abuse incident.  Last Thursday the 3 month old's mother took the child to Allegiance Hospital.  Deputy Police Chief John Holda told WKHM the child had an upset stomach and was vomiting before it was taken to the hospital.
The mother and child reside at Abbey Villas apartments, police are continuing their investigation and so far have not developed any suspects.
The child is now stable and the condition is not considered life threatening.
