Jackson County Circuit Court Judge Tom Wilson sentenced 25 year old Thomas Carter to 7 to 15 years in prison for abusing his 4 month old son.  Carter was found guilty of abuse last month, the child suffered a skull fracture among other injuries.  Judge Wilson also sentenced 32 year old Arlene Donnelly who earlier plead guilty to embezzling some $14,000 from the Northwest High School Athletic Boosters. Judge Wilson said Donnelly will spend 300 days in jail, five year probation, 100 hours of community service, and repay the Booster Club nearly 15 thousand dollars.
